 Kendriya Vidyalaya
No.2, Jalahalli
East, Bangalore was
established in 1983 in the Air Force Station Jalahalli. It m oved into
its own permanent building in 1995. The Vidyalaya is located in the
picturesque Air Force Station, Jalahalli (East) on a sprawling area. It has
three sections in classes I to X, and two sections in class XI and one
section in class XII. Science stream with PCBM/H/CS is offered at +2 level.
The Vidyalaya
has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Junior Science, Mathematics
and Languages laboratories. The Vidyalaya has a very good play ground. The
student strength is about 1500 (approx.) and staff strength is 56. The
Vidyalaya has two well equipped computer laboratories with broadband
connection. Computers are also made available in the staff rooms for the use
of primary and secondary teachers separately with broad band connection. The
Vidyalaya provides special coaching in Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho and
Athletics. To facilitate TAL an LCD projector is installed in a separate room
with broadband connection for effective curriculum transaction.
