  My First Poem

I was given a task                                                                And each and every effort

A simple but complex task;                                                        I had made.

An easy but difficult task;                                                      I closed the diary,

An effortless but Herculean  task;                                              With grief and a sigh

Hey, the task was nothing                                                     Suddenly stuck an idea

But to compose a poem                                                            And my spirits rose high!

                                                                                            I look out my diary

I thought it would be simple                                                                And read it loud,

But O it formed on my face some  wrinkle;                  There was the result,

                                                                                                          You would applaud.

I look out my pen and note,

With lot of effort and pain,                                          With joy all over,

I scribbled something on its page,                                                         I look out my note,

Nothing made my sense,                                             Wrote it all again,

So all my struggle went in vain.                                                              With slight modification

                                                                                               Here and there.

I store the pages one by one,

`coz none of my efforts had won.                                 In a rhythm,  I read it out

I had lost all my patience,                                                                       And there was my poem,

And at last decided to quit.                                         The same poem,

                                                                                                              My very own poem,

                                                                                                My First Poem.

Having lost all the hopes,

               I look out my diary

And wrote about every incidents

               that took place,

Mother's love, Mother's love.

My Pretty mother's love.

Everybody should get mother's love.

I am lucky to get her love.

I thank god for creating mother.

She is the most wonderful thing on this earth.
